The Metropolitan Opera hosts Pay-Per-View Online Series

The Metropolitan Opera announced today that it will launch a Pay-Per-View Series featuring some of opera’s biggest stars. This weekend series of 12 live concerts opens Saturday, July 18, with Jonas Kaufmann performing from a historic abbey in Polling, Bavaria.

Pretty Yende will be joined by Javier Camarena on November 7 in Switzerland. The summer and fall concerts also include Roberto Alagna, Piotr Beczała, Angel Blue, Lise Davidsen, Joyce DiDonato, Renée Fleming, Aleksandra Kurzak, Diana Damrau, Joseph Calleja, Anna Netrebko, Sondra Radvanovsky, Bryn Terfel, and Sonya Yoncheva.

The pay-per-view tickets, priced at $20, go on sale Tuesday, July 14, at noon ET, and will be available for on-demand viewing for twelve days following the live event.

The Met Opera livestreams an all-star At-Home Gala
