Pretty Yende stars in Donizetti’s ‘L’Elisir d’Amore’ at The Royal Opera House

Pretty Yende makes her highly anticipated debut at The Royal Opera House in one of her signature roles, Adina in Donizetti’s L’Elisir d’Amore. Liparit Avetisyan joins her as the love-struck Nemorino in Laurent Pelly’s production on May 27, 30, June 3,6, & 11. Ms. Yende has received immense critical acclaim for her portrayals of bel canto heroines and has been lauded as “… a silky soprano with shimmering colours, luminous high notes and a rich bottom, superbly suited to bel canto music” (Bachtrack). Maestro Bertrand de Billy will lead the Royal Opera Chorus and Orchestra in all performances.

Pretty Yende to receive International Achiever Award from the SAMA
